Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, and now residing near Charlotte, North Carolina, Totisha L. Phelps is a woman who lives her truth unapologetically. She is an open book—transparent about her breakdowns and grateful for her breakthroughs—using every chapter of her story to empower others to rise from theirs.
Known for her bold yet magnetic presence, Totisha speaks with conviction, compassion, and purpose. She proudly wears her heart on her sleeve and leaves a lasting imprint wherever she goes.
A devoted child of God, wife, mother, author, and publisher of several life-changing journals, Totisha’s life’s work centers on helping others rebuild from the inside out.
As a Transformational Speaker, Business Consultant, Book Coach, and Certified Peer Support Specialist (Mental Health), she merges faith, education, and lived experience to guide others toward healing and transformation.
Holding a Master’s in Business Management, Totisha uses her expertise to equip individuals, families, and communities with the tools to grow—mentally, financially, and spiritually. Through LNKPWA, she continues the mission that started it all: restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and strengthening communities—now with an expanded reach that touches lives both locally and globally.
Beyond her professional roles, Totisha is loyal, nurturing, adventurous, and full of joy. She loves to travel, fellowship, and create lasting memories. Her ultimate passion is simple yet powerful: to inspire, uplift, and serve—one life, one family, and one community at a time.

CALVIN PHELPS,

Calvin Phelps brings over 18 years of experience in rehabilitation, community advocacy, and freight logistics and operations. Formerly incarcerated, he has transformed his life and now serves as a mentor, advocate, and leader in his community, guiding others through rehabilitation and personal development. Calvin holds a Class A Commercial Driver’s License, is a Certified Transportation Professional, and maintains the clearance to contract with the federal government, reflecting his reliability, integrity, and technical expertise. He excels in route planning, logistics coordination, compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations, and operational leadership. Known for developing policies, mentoring teams, and ensuring safety, Calvin combines operational mastery with a heart for service, advancing the board’s mission to transform lives with lasting impact and purpose.

Sandra Grant, CPCM, brings over 40 years of proven experience in leadership, management, and organizational governance to the LNKPWA Board. Throughout her distinguished career, she has built a strong reputation for operational excellence, compliance oversight, and process development within the healthcare industry. As a respected leader, Sandra maintained a low staff turnover rate, guiding teams for over 20 years at a prominent healthcare firm—an achievement that reflects her integrity, consistency, and people-first leadership style. Her expertise in compliance, time management, and policy execution strengthens LNKPWA’s governance structure. As a valued member of the Governance Committee, Sandra upholds accountability and ethical standards that advance the organization’s mission to restore lives with faith, purpose, and impact.

LISA RICHARDSON,

Lisa Richardson brings over 30 years of experience in office management, administration, and organizational leadership. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and oversees operations for both a funeral home and a church, where she manages all aspects of planning, organizing, and coordination. Lisa’s exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to streamline processes make her a trusted and dependable leader. She is passionate about serving others, leading with compassion, and supporting initiatives that strengthen community connections. Known for her integrity and consistency, Lisa also plays an active role in fundraising, outreach, and event planning. Her dedication to excellence helps lay the administrative foundation that keeps the organization’s vision strong and mission moving forward.

Pamela Whitney brings over 20 years of expertise in Management Information Systems (MIS) and financial management, making her a vital pillar of the board’s fiscal integrity and organizational structure. Holding a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Pamela blends technology, strategy, and strong money management skills to enhance organizational transparency and efficiency. Her analytical mindset and attention to detail ensure that every financial process operates with accuracy, accountability, and purpose. Passionate about stewardship and sustainability, she helps build a solid financial foundation that supports long-term growth. Pamela’s leadership reflects excellence, precision, and an unwavering commitment to constructing systems that strengthen the organization’s impact and empower transformation from the inside out

Crystal Dublin proudly served in the United States Army after graduating high school, earning an honorable discharge following an injury during active duty. After her military service, she furthered her education and became a licensed culinary chef—using her skills to give back and support community outreach through food and fellowship. Her experience navigating life after the battlefield gave her firsthand understanding of the challenges veterans face when transitioning home.
As Veterans Liaison & Community Integration Director, Crystal combines her military discipline, compassion, and culinary talent to serve others. She is dedicated to helping veterans and dependents access benefits and resources, while advancing LNKPWA’s mission to feed, empower, and uplift the community she proudly represents.

With over 25 years of professional experience spanning K–12 education, higher education, and healthcare, Shemeda D. Conyer brings a wealth of leadership, creativity, and expertise to the LNKPWA Board. Currently serving with Novant Health, she holds a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Counseling and Career Services. A results-driven professional and Certified Career Services Practitioner (CCSP), Shemeda has dedicated her career to empowering individuals through education, communication, and purposeful connection. Her passion for community engagement, strategic messaging, and organizational development makes her an invaluable asset to LNKPWA’s mission. As Marketing & Communications Director, she leads with excellence, ensuring that every story shared reflects the organization’s faith-driven commitment to transformation, empowerment, and impact.

Shawana Gatlin, MBA, is a seasoned marketing strategist and published author with over a decade of experience leading digital campaigns, financial services initiatives, and community-based projects. She holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Community and Economic Development, reflecting her passion for empowering underserved populations through strategic growth and innovation. As the founder of NeuroFloe™, a wellness tech initiative supporting women with ADHD, Shawana bridges the gap between mental health and technology. Her work seamlessly blends storytelling, strategy, and service—positioning her as a dynamic advocate for mental wellness, equity, and education, and a visionary force behind LNKPWA’s digital communications and brand presence.
